Have you ever wrote or said something to someone and it came off sounding as if you were crazy or just a bit stalker – ish? Or maybe what you say is taken the wrong way and so a full blown argument ensues or just a F U is given?
I tend to give the impression of one or both quite often because I have this syndrome called “Foot in Mouth” syndrome. It’s a well known syndrome that Sagittarians tend to possess. We do these things on a regular. I tend to lose a lot of friends that way.
There was a time that I said and wrote something to an Aries friend of mine that got blown all out of proportion. Which then ended with us not speaking for quite a while. Talk about a fire sign explosion between us. We didn’t speak to each other until one day, we were in a situation where there was no avoiding the other.
For me, the whole thing was over after it happened. For my friend, it took longer.
When the moment came for us to speak to each other, I could see how difficult it was for my friend. I had already gotten past it months ago yet for her, it was difficult. I believe she said it was more about whether or not would I accept her back into my life knowing how in the past, people have hurt me and they’re not in my life anymore.
When she finally got the nerves to speak, I let her know that she was always my friend. The tears flowed from her eyes like rain washing away the dirt and grime. In the beginning of us coming together again, I did hold back. I didn’t want to say or do anything that would make us be distant again. Not everyone can handle my brand of truth. Yet my Arien friend could. Fire signs are amazing and powerful!
After all this time, we are still going strong. Yet, I still have a tendency to have “Foot in Mouth” syndrome. For those who truly know me and love me, it’s written off as my special brand of honesty. As for others, let’s just say, I end up in the FU book – check, smizes!
Maybe one day, I will learn how to just be and then my words and actions will flow freely without causing pain or pissosity.
